2-17-06 Commentary

On Active Voice Radio this week it was a commentary show. From all angles this week there was news of "responsibility."

But isn't that a concept that should come into play BEFORE an event....not after???

Here are 2 clips from the KSFR 90.7FM airing of Active Voice Radio Feb 17 2006. Click on the links below to play MP3s. Thanks for listening!!!

Flying Cats: The Legend of the F-14
After a service history spanning 30 years, the Grumman F-14 Tomcat is about to retire from the US Navy Fleet. We speak with M. Hill Goodspeed the Historian at the National Museum of Naval Aviation about the F-14 and its legacy. We also tracked down one of the rarest F-14s on display at the Air Victory Museum in New Jersey and spoke with a volunteer there, Tom Myers, about visitors' reactions to the mighty Tomcat.

Part 1 of Flying Cats includes real engine noise,  flyby sound fx and the story of Chris' base tour of Top Gun in the late 80's.
