What is the show all about?

From Chris, "Active Voice Radio is a format of my own design featuring quick-paced news commentary, exclusive short-reports, interviews and rare, awesome music. "

World Technology Update - A weekly report on the "Latest and Greatest in Human Invention, Creation and Discovery..." by Mike Mossey. Produced exclusively for AVR it airs on the 1/2 hour mark of the 1st and 3rd hours.

NORML News- This is a reading of the press release from the NORML Foundation, the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. Americas longest running Marijuana Reform organization.

From Chris, "...I air their press release as truly alternative news and to somewhat offset the complete lack of information on the topic of marijuana in American media...."

Interviews- The program often features interviews with authors, journalists, political activists and party politicos. Our goal is to bring young voices and resonant voices to the air so we may all tackle the issues of our society together.

Commentary- Chris is a political independent and brings voices from all parties on to this program. His commentary is energetic and can not be defined by "liberal" or "conservative." Often mixed with biting humor, the commentary offered on AVR is unique in radio media.

"Loyalty to the country always, loyalty to the government when it deserves it...." Mark Twain
